If you are a Seinfeld fan, then is the perfect book for you! However, you really need to know the episodes to truly know what the author is talking about. There's not much "filler information" so-to-speak. I read this book after my first time watching this series and could keep up, though, so you don't need to be a "super" fan by any means.
The only disappointing aspect of this book is that it makes the main actors/creators look like such divas. When reading these books, that's always a risk. Sometimes it's better to not know anything about the shows we know and love. Despite that, the information is great for all comedy/sitcom fans!
Seinfeld truly paved the way for a lot of the entertainment we know and love. This book highlights the path Seinfeld paved for shows like The Office, Friends, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, etc, so reading this book when you love those shows really gives you a new appreciation. Listening to the inspiration both Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld (as well as the various writers) found in mundane daily activities truly makes you think about your own life. I wonder if I've ever done something in public that's inspired someone's creativity haha. All in all, this book is definitely worth the read. I've both read it and listened to the audiobook and both are equally wonderful!
