Before I got into Bookstagram, my Young Adult Literature class focused on what she called "book bentos". These allowed us to showcase parts of a story through imagery. I used ThingLink to explain what each item meant, as well as why a teacher should read the novel Stepsister. 

This is the book bento designed for students. It was done for the same class/assignment detailed above. 

One of my courses at Rutgers focused on the importance of collaboration. In order to properly collaborate, lesson plans need to be accessible and understandable. I created a lesson plan on Banned Books that can allow for teachers to team up with me during that week. 

One of the biggest duties as a worker in education is creating lesson plans. During my Learning Theory course, we focused on all the individual aspects of lesson planning and how each aspect enables students to learn. I decided to write my lesson plan on a Holocaust unit for 7th graders.

Part of being a sufficient librarian is knowing the behavior of humans. Oftentimes, people don't know exactly what it is they need - it's up to use to help decipher that. I wrote a paper on the human behavior of elementary-aged students to better understand my clientele. 

My Young Adult Literature course required us to create our own Youth Award to showcase an unrecognized style. I chose to do an award based on books written by authors with disabilities.
